103rd Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 29 March, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to the Bill on Medical Insurance, Bill on Healthcare, Bill on Items of General Use and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Substances Used in the Illegal Production of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances.

Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski informed the Committee members about MP Marijan Risticevic’s memo that he was withdrawing the amendments submitted to the Bill on Medical Insurance. The Committee found the rest of the amendments to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Of the 63 amendments submitted to the Bill on Healthcare, the Committee found three not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while the rest were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all 19 of the amendments submitted to the Bill on Items of General Use to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, as well as all seven of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Substances Used in the Illegal Production of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Bojan Torbica, Vesna Markovic, Krsto Janjusevic, Aleksandra Majkic, Vojislav Vujic, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Vesna Nikolic Vukajlovic, Milena Corilic and Dr Balint Pasztor.
