The Legislative Committee’s session held on 23 March discussed and endorsed in principle the Bill Repealing the Act on the Earnings Fund Tax, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Public Revenue and Public Expenditure, as well as the Bill Modifying the Act on Local Self-government.

The Committee also discussed and endorsed in principle the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2004, along with proposals of decisions approving 2004 financial plans for the Republic Fund for the Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, Agricultural Workers and the Self-employed, the Republic Health Insurance Fund and the National Employment Service. The Committee concluded that four amendments submitted to the Bill on the Budget were legally viable.

The Legislative Committee discussed and endorsed in principle the Bill on the Volume of Assets and Participation of Municipalities, Cities and the City of Belgrade in the Earnings and Sales Tax in 2004.
