13th session of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia
At its session held on 18 July 2005, the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia discussed the section of the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia relating to the Kosovo and Metohia Fund.
At its session held on 18 July 2005, the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia discussed the section of the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia relating to the Kosovo and Metohia Fund.
After the discussion ended, the Committee resolved to hold a meeting with officials of the Co-ordination Centre for Kosovo and Metohia and the appropriate Ministries of the Government of the Republic of Serbia to consider better funding for programmes, plans and activities relating to the position of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohia.
The Committee also noted that programmes should in the future be funded directly by the appropriate ministries, not, as is current practice, through the Co-ordination Centre for Kosovo and Metohia.
The section of the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia relating to the Kosovo and Metohia Fund was presented by the advisor to the Minister of Finance, Mira Cojbasic.
