At its thirteenth session, held on 26 May, the Committee on Transportation and Communications discussed the Report of the Ministry of Capital Investment and the Republic Road Directorate on assets expended by the Directorate in the previous period, as well as a Report of the Ministry on situation regarding cable television networks.

The Minister of Capital Investment, Velimir Ilic, and his associates, as well as officials of the Republic Road Directorate, attended the session.

The Committee concluded that the Ministry of Capital Investment needed to inspect the activities of the Republic Road Directorate and examine the situation relating to the expansion of cable networks. Should any omissions or illegal activities be uncovered, the Committee has requested that the Ministry institute proceedings against persons responsible, and report back to the Committee on the situation and measures taken.
