15th Sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee
At the sitting held on 6 March, the Environmental Protection Committee discussed the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Chemicals, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Biocidal Products and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Integrated Environmental Pollution Prevention and Control, in detail.
To the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Chemicals the MPs had submitted 17 amendments, out of which the Government and the Committee accepted 4 and rejected the rest.
Out of the 18 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Biocidal Products, the Government and the Committee accepted none.
The MPs had submitted 2 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Integrated Environmental Pollution Prevention and Control, but the Government and the Committee did not accept them.
The Committee Chairman informed the Committee that the public hearing on “Climate change as a reality in Serbia and the EU – challenges, responses, possibilities” will be held on 6 April 2015, at 11 am, at the Small Hall of the National Assembly House.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Branislav Blazic.
