16th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 8 October, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government discussed, in principle, the Bill amending the Criminal Code, submitted by a group of 199 MPs.

The Bill was elaborated, on the behalf of the submitters, by MP Meho Omerovic who said that the amendments to the Criminal Code introduce two new criminal offenses – participation in war or armed conflict abroad and organisation of participation in war or armed conflict abroad.

Following a short debate, the Committee members adopted a Report by which they propose that the National Assembly accept the Bill amending the Criminal Code, submitted by a group of 199 MPs, in principle.

The sitting was chaired by Petar Petrovic, Committee Chairman.
