17th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 24 February 2025, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues adopted decisions amending and modifying the decisions to organise the third and fourth public hearing on the Presentation of the Draft Law amending and modifying the Law on the Unified Electoral Roll, prepared by the Working Group for the Improvement of the Electoral Process.

Committee Chairperson Milica Nikolic reminded the attending that, at the 16th sitting held on 14 February 2025, the Committee had passed the Decision to organise the third public hearing on the Presentation of the Draft Law amending and modifying the Law on the Unified Electoral Roll, prepared by the Working Group for the Improvement of the Electoral Process on 26 February 2025 in Novi Sad at 10 am. As the Committee is organising a number of public hearings in a short period of time, the Committee members decided to postpone the third public hearing for 19 March 2025 thus creating the conditions for a successful organisation of the event.

At the 16th sitting held on 14 February 2025, the Committee had also passed the Decision to organise the fourth public hearing on the Presentation of the Draft Law amending and modifying the Law on the Unified Electoral Roll, prepared by the Working Group for the Improvement of the Electoral Process on 28 February 2025 in Nis, starting at noon. For the same abovementioned reasons the Committee members decided to postpone the fourth public hearing for 3 March 2025.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Milica Nikolic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Vesna Nedovic, Snezana Jovanovic, Jasmina Palurovic, Milos Gnjidic, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Olja Petrovic, Ana Krstic, Dijana Radovic, Risto Kostov, Uros Djokic, Nikola Bokan and Dragan Nikolic.
