18th Sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee

At the sitting held on 13 November, the members of the Environmental Protection Committee reviewed the proposal to organize a public hearing on the Bill on Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security, submitted by MP Maja Gojkovic.


The Committee agreed to organize the public hearing on 19 November, at 11 am, in the Small Hall of the National Assembly House and to invite the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society, Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy, representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Serbian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ministry of Mining and Energy, relevant institutes and NGOs.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Ivana Stojiljkovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Ivana Nikolic, Milena Turk, Radoslav Cokic, Nada Lazic, Zoran Despotovic, Dr Predrag Jelenkovic, Borka Grubor, Dusko Tarbuk, Dr Ljubinko Rakonjac, Borisav Kovacevic, Gordana Comic, Aleksandra Jevtic and Vladimir Petkovic.
