21st session of the Justice and Administration Committee
The Justice and Administration Committee held its twenty-first session on 13 December. The session was chaired by Jovan Palalic, the Committee’s chairman.

The session discussed and in principle endorsed the Bill on the Election of Deputies to the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro, presented by the Minister of State Administration and Local Self-government, Zoran Loncar, as well as the Bill on the Programme of Protection of Persons Involved in Criminal Proceedings, the Mediation Bill and the Bill on the Transfer of Competences of Military Courts, Military Prosecutors’ Offices and Military Public Defence Attorneys’ Offices, presented by the Minister of Justice, Zoran Stojkovic.
The Government and the Committee endorsed one amendment submitted to the Bill on the Election of Deputies to the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro, three amendments submitted to the Bill on the Transfer of Competences of Military Courts, Military Prosecutors’ Offices and Military Public Defence Attorneys’ Offices, and one amendment submitted to the Bill on the Programme of Protection of Persons Involved in Criminal Proceedings, thereby making the amendments integral parts of the Bills. One amendment was withdrawn from procedure at the Committee’s session, while the remainder were not endorsed.
When the session resumed (on 15 December), the Committee discussed four amendments submitted to the Bill on the Election of Deputies to the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro, as well as two amendments submitted to the Mediation Bill.
The Committee did not endorse the amendments.
