22nd Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 16 March 2021, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the resignation tendered to the post of MP by Milan Savic.

The Committee ascertained that the resignation of MP Milan Savic, elected from the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – FOR OUR CHILDREN Electoral List, falls within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office, pursuant to Article 88, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same Law.

The Committee went on to consider and unanimously give a positive opinion to the request submitted by MP Jelena Zaric Kovacevic to assume another post, as mediator in dispute resolution, pursuant to documentation issued by the Minister of Justice.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Luka Kebara, Branimir Spasic, Sonja Vlahovic, Veroljub Matic, Marina Ragus, Viktor Jevtovic, Branimir Jovanovic and Ivana Nikolic.
