22nd Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government
At the sitting held on 5 November, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government discussed two of the bills on the agenda for the Seventh Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014, in detail, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Financing Political Activities, submitted by a group of 128 MPs of the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, in principle.
Having discussed the amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Real Estate Trade, the Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly not accept any of the five amendments the MPs had submitted, which the Government did not accept either. The Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the amendment the Committee submitted to article 5.
The Bill amending and modifying the Law on Financing Political Activities, submitted by a group of 128 MPs of the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, was elaborated by representative of the submitters Zoran Babic.
Following a short debate, the Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Financing Political Activities, submitted by a group of 128 MPs of the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, in principle.
The sitting was chaired by Petar Petrovic, Committee Chairman.
