22nd session of the Privatisation Committee
At the Privatisation Committee’s twenty-first session, the Committee members were acquainted with the activities of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
At the Privatisation Committee’s twenty-first session, the Committee members were acquainted with the activities of the Securities and Exchange Commission. The chairman of the Commission, Milko Stimac, presented a report on the Commission’s activities over the past two weeks. After a discussion lasting several hours, the Committee recommended to the Finance Committee to review the financial plan of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and to the Supreme Court and the Higher Commercial Court to award preferential treatment to privatisation-related administrative proceedings.
At today’s session, Committee members endorsed the Report of the Privatisation Agency for July 2004, along with the Agency’s Plan of Activities for August 2004.
Besides Committee members, the session was attended by the Minister of Economy, Predrag Bubalo, the Director of the Privatisation Agency, Miodrag Djordjevic, the Director of the Share Fund, Aleksandar Gracanac, as well as representatives of the Belgrade Stock Exchange and the Central Register.
