24th session of the Finance Committee
At its session held on 18 January, the Finance Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed and endorsed the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Action Plan for the Harmonisation of Economic Systems of Member States of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro in Order to Prevent and Remove Obstacles to the Free Movement of People, Goods, Services and Capital.
At its session held on 18 January, the Finance Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed and endorsed the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Action Plan for the Harmonisation of Economic Systems of Member States of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro in Order to Prevent and Remove Obstacles to the Free Movement of People, Goods, Services and Capital.
Presenting the Bill, the Minister of International Economic Relations, Milan Parivodic, stressed that the aim for introducing amendments to the existing Act was to ensure that Serbia and Montenegro could continue its two-track approach to European Union and the World Trade Organisation.
At the suggestion of the chairman of the Finance Committee, Radojko Obradovic, which was adopted by members of the Committee, the Ministry of International Economic Relations is to prepare, for the next session, an analysis of the implementation of the Act on the Action Plan for the Harmonisation of Economic Systems of Member States of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro thus far.
