The Bill was presented by Minister of Culture and the Media’s assistant for economic and financial affairs Zeljko Kovacevic who said that the 13,286,217,000 RSD allocated for Section 29 are lower than last year’s due to the fact that no funds were planned for the subsidizing and renovation of the Radio Television of Vojvodina, nor any subsidies for the Radio Television of Serbia. Considerable funds allocated to Section 29 have been earmarked for the capital project research, protection and presentation of archaeological site Belo Brdo in Vinca, and some for the increase of salaries in the sector.

Following a debate, the Committee members proposed, by majority vote, that the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending accept the Republic of Serbia 2020 Budget Bill, Section 29 – Ministry of Culture and the Media. The Committee appointed Chairman Mirko Krlic as representative of the submitter at the National Assembly sitting.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Mirko Krlic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Haji Milorad Stosic, Mladen Lukic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Srbislav Filipovic, Nikola Savic, Natasa Mihailovic Vacic, Dragana Kostic, Snezana Paunovic, Prof. Dr Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic and Djordje Vukadinovic.
