31st Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 9 September, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to six of the bills included into the agenda for the Ninth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014.
Out of the 74 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education, the Committee rejected one as incomplete and found the rest compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee also considered the 47 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Civil Servants, and found all the amendments compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee members also found the three amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Salaries of Civil Servants and Employees, two amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Salaries in State Authorities and Public Services, as well as the 12 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on State Administration compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee members the proceeded to establish that the two amendments submitted to the Bill modifying the Law on Health Insurance were also compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
