31st session of the Privatisation Committee
At its session held on 27 December 2004, the Privatisation Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia decided to re-consider issues arising from the privatisation of Zrenjanin-based pharmaceuticals maker Jugoremedija Joint-Stock Company after litigation initiated before competent courts is complete.
At its session held on 27 December 2004, the Privatisation Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia decided to re-consider issues arising from the privatisation of Zrenjanin-based pharmaceuticals maker Jugoremedija Joint-Stock Company after litigation initiated before competent courts is complete.
Members of the Privatisation Committee endorsed the report of the Privatisation Agency on the fulfilment of contractual obligations of the buyer of Belgrade-based tour operator Putnik Joint-Stock Company, submitted at the Committee’s session by the Director of the Privatisation Agency, Miodrag Djordjevic. The Committee also advised the Agency to initiate termination of the contract and institute a ban on the use of the company’s property unless the contract is implemented within the time foreseen, i.e. by the first working day in 2005.
The Privatisation Committee also discussed the report on actions taken by the Privatisation Agency in the privatisation of Vrnjacka Banja-based freight company Autoprevoz, advising the Agency to initiate termination of the contract and institute a temporary ban on the use of the company’s property.
