38th Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee

At the sitting held on 11 February, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of India on Cooperation in the field of Plant Health and Plant Quarantine, submitted by the Government.

The Bill was presented by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management who said that the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of India on Cooperation in the field of Plant Health and Plant Quarantine was signed in Belgrade on 15 September 2018, during the Indian President’s official visit to Serbia. The Agreement regulates important issues concerning plant health and plant quarantine.

Following the presentation, the Committee members accepted the Bill.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milija Miletic, Marjana Maras, Mladen Lukic, Ognjen Pantovic, Arpad Fremond, Veroljub Matic, Radovan Jancic and Boban Birmancevic.
