38th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
At the sitting held on 28 January, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues discussed the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission on the allocation of an MP's term of office for the purpose of filling a vacant seat at the National Assembly.
The Committee ascertained that a term of office had been allocated to Zoran Andjelkovic from the IVICA DACIC - SOCIALIST PARTY OF SERBIA (SPS), PARTY OF UNITED PENSIONERS OF SERBIA (PUPS), UNITED SERBIA (US) Electoral List and proposed that the National Assembly should note the verification of the new MP’s term of office.
At the sitting, the Committee also discussed the resignation tendered to the post of MP by Ljubica Vasic and decided to propose that the National Assembly should note the termination of the MP’s term of office.
In the continuation, the Committee adopted the Decision on the establishment of the Working Group for the drafting of a proposal of MPs’ Code of Conduct. The Working Group comprises the following MPs: Srdjan Spasojevic, New Serbia Parliamentary Group; Nedjo Jovanovic, Socialist Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group; Momo Colakovic, Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) Parliamentary Group; Vojislav Vujic, United Serbia Parliamentary Group; Snezana Stojanovic Plavsic, United Regions of Serbia Parliamentary Group; Dejan Mihajlov, Democratic Party of Serbia - Vojislav Kostunica Parliamentary Group; Nenad Konstantinovic, Democratic Party Parliamentary Group; Neven Cveticanin, Social Democratic Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group; Olena Papuga, League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina Parliamentary Group and Katarina Rakic, Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group.
The Committee gave a positive opinion to the request of MP Zoran Radovanovic to perform another public function.
The sitting was chaired by Zoran Babic, Committee Chairman.
