45th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the 45th sitting, held on 26 October, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the five bills included in the agenda for the Sixth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014, and found them all compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee members declared the Bill amending the Law on Judges, submitted by a group of 199 MPs, Bill amending the Law on Public Prosecution, submitted by a group of 199 MPs and the Bill amending the Law on Building Legalisation, submitted by a group of 127 MPs, compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee members went on to ascertain that the Bill on the Confirmation of the Arms Trade Treaty and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Spain on Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Information, submitted by the Government, also comply with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
