56th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 11 December, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments submitted to the Republic of Serbia 2018 Budget Bill, with its accompanying Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund 2018 Financial Plan, Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Republic Health Insurance Fund 2018 Financial Plan, Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the National Employment Service 2018 Financial Plan and the Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Fund for Social Insurance of Military Insured 2018 Financial Plan, the Bill on Financial Support to Families with Children and the Bill on Public Service Employees.

The Committee found the two amendments the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending had submitted to articles 1 and 5 of the Republic of Serbia 2018 Budget Bill to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee found the three amendments the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction had submitted to Article 2, paragraph 3, Article 20, paragraph 2 and Article 52, paragraph 1 of the Bill on Financial Support to Families with Children to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found the amendment the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government had submitted to Article 58, paragraph 3 of the Bill on Public Service Employees to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milena Corilic, Vesna Markovic, Bojan Torbica, Petar Petrovic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Aleksandra Majkic, Elvira Kovacs, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic and Ivan Manojlovic.
