57th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 7 September 2021, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues adopted the decisions to organise the Eighth, Ninth, 10th and 11th public hearing with the topic “Changes to the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia in the field of the judiciary”.


The public hearings will be held outside of the National Assembly seat in:

- Eighth Public Hearing on 13 September 2021 in Nis;
- Ninth Public Hearing on 14 September 2021 in Kragujevac;
- 10th Public Hearing on 16 September 2021 in Novi Sad, and
- 11th Public Hearing on 17 September 2021 in Belgrade.

At the 56th sitting the Committee members has formulated the text of the act on amending the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the text of the constitutional law for the implementation of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia to be presented at these public hearings.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nevena Veinovic, Zeljko Tomic, Olja Petrovic, Vuk Mircetic, Luka Kebara, Ugljesa Mrdic, Borisav Kovacevic, Dubravka Kralj, Toma Fila, Jovan Palalic, Ilija Matejic, Milenko Jovanov, Djordje Todorovic and Violeta Ocokoljic.
