6th session of the Industry Committee
At its sixth session, held on 14 May, the Industry Committee adopted its project proposal for applying for funding from the OSCE Committee Development Fund.
At its sixth session, held on 14 May, the Industry Committee adopted its project proposal for applying for funding from the OSCE Committee Development Fund.
The project proposal provides for visits to large industrial complexes, such as Kragujevac-based Zastava, the Bor Mining Basin and Smelting Plant, Kraljevo’s Magnohrom and Railway Carriage Factory, Serbia’s National Power Generation Company and National Oil Corporation facilities in Novi Sad and Pancevo, and the Kolubara Mining Basing.
The project also calls for public debates on strategies for the development of industry, energy and mining, on draft legislation on energy and the usage of alternative forms of energy, as well as on international co-operation in the Committee’s areas of competence.
The project envisages Committee visits to Jagodina, Nis, Kosovska Mitrovica and Leposavic, with the aim of improving co-operation with local administrative bodies.
The Committee requested the Ministry of Trade and Tourism to provide information on the import of fiscal cash registers and the possibility of producing them in Serbia.
