7th session of the Industry Committee
At a session held on 2 June, representatives of a working group from the Ministry of Mining and Energy informed members of the Industry Committee with the draft Energy Bill.
At a session held on 2 June, representatives of a working group from the Ministry of Mining and Energy informed members of the Industry Committee with the draft Energy Bill. According to Committee chairman Veroljub Stevanovic, this session was the first of a number to be devoted to this piece of reform legislation.
The session’s agenda also included reports on the work of the Board of Inquiry Charged with Ascertaining Facts and Circumstances Relating to the Trade of Electrical Energy as well as Financial and Banking-related Offences Linked to Such Trade. Board of Inquiry member Dragan S. Jovanovic (Socialist Party of Serbia) gave details about the joint report submitted by representatives from the Democratic Party of Serbia, the Socialist Party of Serbia and G17 Plus. Board of Inquiry members Dejan Rajacic (Serbian Renewal Movement) and Slobodan Mihailovic (Democratic Party) detailed their separate reports. All reports submitted by the Board of Inquiry are to be discussed by National Assembly deputies at a future session.
The session of the Industry Committee was attended by a large number of interested deputies and journalists.
