8th session of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia

The eighth session of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia was held on 22 April 2004.The Committee’s chairman, Dusan Prorokovic, acquainted members of the Committee with the Committee’s project proposal for applying for assets from the OSCE Committee Development Fund.

The Committee’s chairman, Dusan Prorokovic, acquainted members of the Committee with the Committee’s project proposal for applying for assets from the OSCE Committee Development Fund.

The Committee resolved that its members should, in three groups, visit Serbs in Kosovo and Metohia on 3 May 2004.

At the suggestion of the chairman of the Committee, a Sub-committee was formed, made up of Dragisa Djokovic, Dragutin Peric and Ljubomir Kragovic. The Sub-committee is to select petitions and grievances relating to Kosovo and Metohia and forward them to the relevant Ministries.

The Committee adopted the proposal that the Ministry of Finance should be asked for information on the number of accounts open for assistance to Serbs from Kosovo and Metohia, and on the control of the movements and use of such assets.
