9th session of the Committee on Interethnic Relations
The Committee on Interethnic Relations held its ninth session on 7 February. The chairman of the Committee, Esad Dzudzevic, informed the members of his visits to Nis and Prokuplje, cities with large Roma populations, as well as Dimitrovgrad, a town where a significant proportion of the population is made up of ethnic Bulgarians.

The chairman of the Committee, Esad Dzudzevic, informed the members of his visits to Nis and Prokuplje, cities with large Roma populations, as well as Dimitrovgrad, a town where a significant proportion of the population is made up of ethnic Bulgarians. The visits were made as part of a project of co-operation between the Committee on Interethnic Relations and representatives of national minorities in communities with ethnically mixed populations.
The session discussed the petition of Nebojsa Ivanov, who asked for his sentence of imprisonment to be lifted. The Committee resolved that it was not authorised to rule on the matter.
