Assembly Chairman Markovic on an official visit to Hungary

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and acting President of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, will tomorrow pay an official visit to Hungary at the invitation of the Speaker of the Hungarian parliament, Katalin Szili.


The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and acting President of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, will tomorrow pay an official visit to Hungary at the invitation of the Speaker of the Hungarian parliament, Katalin Szili.

Heads of parliaments are to discuss bilateral and parliamentary co-operation, as well as political and economic experiences of transition countries, with special attention paid to the fact that Hungary is a new member of the European Union.

During his visit to Hungary, Mr Markovic is also to meet representatives of the Serbian ethnic minority, as well as the renowned Hungarian author George Konrad.
