Assembly Chairman Markovic opens 45th Tour of Serbia International Bicycle Race 2005
The 45th Tour of Serbia International Bicycle Race 2005 was opened tonight in a ceremony held in the square in front of St Sava’s Temple in Belgrade.
The 45th Tour of Serbia International Bicycle Race 2005 was opened tonight in a ceremony held in the square in front of St Sava’s Temple in Belgrade. After the anthem of the Republic of Serbia was founded, the race was declared open by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, and chairman of the Honorary Governing Board of the race, Predrag Markovic.
The cyclists, visitors and members of the public were also addressed by Belgrade Deputy Mayor, Radmila Hrustanovic, and the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services, Bojan Dimitrijevic, while Archpriest Cedomir Vuckovic, as envoy of the Serbian Patriarch, Paul, officiated at a prayer service.
