Bajic Meets with Hungarian Embassy Second Counsellor

Deputy Head of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Parliamentary Group Boris Bajic met today at the National Assembly House with Krisztian Szasz, Second Counsellor at the Political Department of the Embassy of Hungary in the Republic of Serbia.

Szasz wanted to learn more about the National Assembly’s mode of operation and topics that have so far been discussed at the Assembly sessions, as well as the views of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians on said topics.

Bajic presented the way in which the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians represents the Hungarian community in the Republic of Serbia and informed Szasz on the many significant projects in which the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians is taking part with the objective of improving the lives of all the citizens.

He also expressed his immense pleasure at, first, the visit to the Republic of Serbia by the Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament Laszlo Kover, and then by Hungarian President Tamas Sulyok, who, among other things, in the company of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the President of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Prof. Dr Balint Pasztor visited Curug and Zabalj, and the restored Catholic Church Our Lady of the Snows, which is of particular importance for the Hungarian community.

Bajic and Szasz agreed that they are especially pleased at the high level of relations between the two countries.
