Brnabic and Craxi: We Continue to Further Parliamentary Relations
National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic met today in Rome with the Chairperson of the Italian Senate’s Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee Stefania Craxi and on that occasion pointed out that the two countries continue to work on furthering their relations within the framework of parliamentary institutions.
"Serbia and Italy are characterised by friendly and highly developed bilateral relations that are continuously improving and intensifying. Development is present in all areas, with the relations have reaching the level of strategic partnership, and also it is significant that Italy is the first member of the EU with which our country has formalised relations on this level," said Brnabic.
National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic is visiting Rome at the invitation of the President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Lorenzo Fontana.
She began her visit with a meeting with the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign and EU Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament Giulio Tremonti.
