Chairmen of Two Parliamentary Committees Hosted Students of National Security Academy

The chairmen of the Security Services Control Committee MA Igor Becic, and the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee MA Milovan Drecun, received the students of the National Security Academy at the National Assembly House.

On the occasion, the students of the National Security Academy were informed about the scope of work and responsibilities of the committees, as well as the results achieved in the previous period, with special emphasis on the importance of the National Assembly’s control function.

In the conversation that followed, the students expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and open dialogue. In addition to discussing current domestic and geopolitical risks, the issue of the greatest security challenges for our country was also raised.

The Chairman of the Security Services Control Committee MA Igor Becic, presented Prof. Dr Dragan Simeunovic and the National Security Academy with a plaque for their contribution to and strengthening of the capacities of the security sector and parliamentary control of the security service.
