Delegation of PFG with Cuba Meets with Cuban National Assembly Speaker

The delegation of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Cuba headed by Bojan Torbica met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernández at the margins of the international seminar Parliamentary Diplomacy.

In the course of the meeting the officials confirmed the traditionally excellent friendly relations between Serbia and Cuba.

They exchanged opinions on current international affairs and the challenges the world is faced with.

They chiefly focused on the development and strengthening of future parliamentary cooperation in line with the signed Memorandum on Cooperation between the two parliaments, as well as further support and cooperation between the two parliaments in international parliamentary institutions on issues of mutual interest and importance.
