Discussions between members of the Gender Equality Committee and Bavarian Provincial Assembly deputy
Members of the Gender Equality Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Zivodarka Dacin, Ljiljana Nestorovic, Milica Vojic-Markovic, Anita Beretic, Boban Vojinovic, Nikola Lalic, Srboljub Marinkovic and Slobodan Zivkucin, today held discussions with Ursula Menle, deputy to the Bavarian Provincial Assembly.
Members of the Gender Equality Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Zivodarka Dacin, Ljiljana Nestorovic, Milica Vojic-Markovic, Anita Beretic, Boban Vojinovic, Nikola Lalic, Srboljub Marinkovic and Slobodan Zivkucin, today held discussions with Ursula Menle, deputy to the Bavarian Provincial Assembly.
The talks centred on the problems of women’s participation in government, planned legislation aimed at encouraging women to take a more active role in politics, as well as the possibilities for the Committee’s co-operation with its counterpart in the German Bundestag.
Ursula Menle acquainted Committee members with her activities in dealing with women’s issues, as well as on the results achieved in the field of gender equality in Germany.
