Dr Orlic with Congressman Swalwell: We Appreciate Support for Open Balkans

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic met today in Washington D.C. with congressman and member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Committee on the Judiciary Eric Swalwell.

In the course of the meeting, the officials exchanged opinions on numerous topics and emphasised the importance of establishing a strategic dialogue between the Republic of Serbia and the United States of America.

Dr Orlic especially welcomed Congressman Swalwell's initiative to organise a Summit of the leaders of the "Open Balkans" member states in the US. He also thanked the congressman for his proactive approach to cooperation between Serbia and the US in the previous period.
