Dr Vladimir Orlic Congratulates Lunar New Year to Chinese National People's Congress Chairman

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic sent a letter of congratulations to the Chairman of the Chinese National People's Congress Li Zhanshu:

"Your Excellency,

My heartiest congratulations the Lunar New Year, on behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and in my own name, and best wishes for further progress, prosperity and well-being of the People's Republic of China and the well-being of its people, as well as for your good health, personal happiness and every success.

I am sure the Year of the Rabbit will bring peace, harmony, exceptional results and all prosperity to your country, both internally and globally, and that this year we will continue to contribute to deepening and strengthening our steel friendship and achieving great and significant results.

Our cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the cooperation mechanism between China and Central and Eastern European Countries are a confirmation of our excellent bilateral relations, two extremely important and significant forums for the further intensification of cooperation on a regional and global level, which Serbia is fully dedicated and attaches great importance to.

I would like to take this opportunity to repeat my deepest gratitude to the People's Republic of China, one of the greatest friends of the Republic of Serbia, for its consistent position on the issue of Kosovo-Metohija, i.e. for its strong support to the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, which for us is a matter of vital national importance. Rest assured that the Republic of Serbia will continue to provide full support to the "One China" policy in the future with the same consistency”, says the congratulatory letter of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
