Dr Vladimir Orlic and Ambassador of DPR Korea Discuss Promoting Cooperation
MP Dr Vladimir Orlic met today at the National Assembly House with the non-residential Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea accredited from Bucharest H.E. Ri Pyong Du, to discuss the two countries’ traditionally good and friendly relations.
Orlic thanked DPR Korea for its principled stance on the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo adding that Serbia stands for a constructive approach in all international affairs according to international law and propagates dialogue as a solution to all disputed issues.
The Ambassador of DPR Korea said that this year marks 70 years of diplomatic relations between Serbia and DPR Korea and he hopes that visits of representatives of DPR Korea would contribute to the development of cooperation and exchange of experiences across the board.
At the end of the meeting, the officials concluded that peace, stability and well-being are basic social values which set the groundwork for the improvement of relations in the interest of both nations.
