Eighth Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

The Culture and Information Committee held its eighth sitting on 19 March 2009, chaired by the Committee Chairperson Vesna Marjanovic.



The Culture and Information Committee held its eighth sitting on 19 March 2009, chaired by the Committee Chairperson Vesna Marjanovic. The sitting was attended by Rodoljub Sabic, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, Dejan Stojanovic, advisor at the Ministry of Culture, representatives of the Coalition for Free Access to Information, UNDP, OSCE Mission to Serbia, YUKOM, as well as the authors of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance.

The authors of Bill amending and modifying the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance, submitted by 35,870 voters, presented the Bill to the Committee members.

The Working group for the drafting of the Bill comprised Rodoljub Sabic, Prof. Dr Vladimir Vodinelic, Mr Sasa Gajin and Dr Dejan Milenkovic.
