According to the Republic of Serbia 2017 Budget Bill, in the part concerning the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, the proposed funds amount to 175,645,000 RSD. The funds are intended for two program activities, protection of the rights and interests of the diaspora and Serbs in the region – 67,077,000 RSD, and preservation of the national and cultural identity of the diaspora and Serbs in the region – 108,568,000 RSD.

The Republic of Serbia 2017 Budget Bill, in the part concerning the Office, was presented by representatives of the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, as the executive body of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Ivan Kostic, and attended by the Committee members Prim. Dr Vlado Babic, Vladimir Djuric, Milorad Mircic and Dejan Sulkic.
