The Poverty Reduction Committee held its fifth sitting on 6 March. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson Snezana Stojanovic-Plavsic.

The Committee unanimously adopted the decision to found a Children’s Rights Working Group which would comprehensively address children’s issues. The National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic is the chairperson of the working group, and the Poverty Reduction Committee Chairperson Snezana Stojanovic-Plavsic is the deputy chairperson – coordinator. The working group comprises National Assembly Deputy Speakers Judita Popovic, Natasa Jovanovic, Gordana Comic, Nikola Novakovic, Bozidar Delic and Radojko Obradovic, as well as deputies Meho Omerovic, Milica Vojic Markovic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Elvira Kovac, Snezana Sedlar Kening, Prim. Dr Nikola Krpic, Zlata Djeric, Gordana Paunovic Milosavljevic, Milan Stanimirovic, Kenan Hajdarevic and Jelena Budimirovic.
