Fifth Sitting of the of the Security Services Control Committee

At the sitting held on 15 November 2012, the Security Services Control Committee discussed and adopted the Military Security Agency Activity Report for the period 1 January – 1 October 2012.


The members of the Security Services Control Committee gave a positive assessment of the Military Security Agency’s work in the reported period, its members’ engagement on the realisation of key tasks in combating organised crime and corruption, security and counterintelligence protection of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Military.

The Committee considered the Military Security Agency’s scope and authority as regards the implementation of special activities and measures and deemed that there had been no oversights in the Agency’s work and that the Agency is performing its duties as regards counterintelligence protection professionally and in line with the law and its authority.

The Committee declared the Report detailed, comprehensive and indicative of the most important segments of the work and results the Military Security Agency achieved in the previous period.
