Foreign Affairs Committee Chairperson Meets with Austrian Ambassador in Belgrade
In the meeting with Austrian Ambassador H.E. Johannes Eigner, Foreign Affairs Committee Chairperson Aleksandra Djurovic thanked the Republic of Austria for the assistance it extended to the Republic of Serbia after the May floods, as well as its earnest support of Serbia’s European integration efforts.
The officials agreed that the relations and political dialogue between the two countries are very good and that their parliamentary cooperation should be further intensified and developed.
Aleksandra Djurovic informed the Ambassador about the activities and duties of the Foreign Affairs Committee, as well as the National Assembly’s plans and activities as regards the adoption of laws, while Ambassador Eigner opined that the announced austerity measures are very brave.
