At the sitting held on 22 March and chaired by Committee Chairman Srboljub Zivanovic, the Committee on Science and Technological Development considered the particulars of the Bill amending the Law on the 2011 Census of Population, Households and Dwellings and the Bill amending the 2011 Agricultural Census, submitted by the Government. The sitting was attended by Assistant Director of the Republic Statistical Office Andra Milojic and department head Snezana Lakcevic.

A total of 7 amendments were submitted to the Bill amending the Law on the 2011 Census of Population, Households and Dwellings. The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Committee accepted none of the submitted amendments. Dr Janko Veselinovic, Committee member, was appointed the Committee’s rapporteur to the National Assembly sitting.

A total of 15 amendments were submitted to the Bill amending the 2011 Agricultural Census. The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Committee accepted none of the submitted amendments. Pavel Marcok, Deputy Committee Chairman, was appointed the Committee’s rapporteur to the National Assembly sitting.
