Fourth Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 25 July, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered a number of amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Ministries and Bill amending the Law on Government. The Committee deemed the submitted amendments compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.


The Committee also considered the amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending the Law on the Bases Regulating Security Services of the Republic of Serbia and decided to continue the debate.

At the sitting, the Chairman of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues and National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic tendered his resignation to the post of Committee Chairman.

The Committee members elected Member of Parliament MA Vladimir Cvijan, from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman.

The sitting was chaired by the former Chairman, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic and Committee Deputy Chairman Srdjan Mikovic.
