Gojkovic Sends Condolences to Pakistani National Assembly Speaker

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent a telegram of condolences to the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on the terrorist attack in Lahore.

“We were deeply saddened by the news of the terrorist attack in Lahore and its dozens of innocent victims. We were especially shocked by the great number of women and child victims, who had gathered to celebrate the most joyful of Christian holidays. We extend our solidarity and support to the Pakistani people and authorities in the decisive fight against terrorism which threatens the common values of democracy and human rights.

On the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, I would like to extend condolences to You, the National Assembly of Pakistan and the families of the victims.”
