Gojkovic and Iranian Parliamentary Delegation
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic met today with a delegation of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by Committee Chairman Alaeddin Boroujerdi.
Gojkovic said that she would invite the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Larijani to visit Serbia so as to maintain dialogue and improve relations.
Gojkovic thanked Iran for its principled stance on and support of Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Gojkovic and Boroujerdi also discussed options for promoting economic cooperation and expanding trade, as well as other modes of cooperation.
