Gojkovic at “Women in Vojvodina’s Parliamentary Life 1919-2018”
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic attended the gathering “Women in Vojvodina’s Parliamentary Life 1919-2018” in Novi Sad today, organized by the Provincial Ombudsman. She stressed that the fact that women are a significant part of the celebration of the big jubilee of Srem, Banat, Backa and Baranja joining the Kingdom of Serbia, is very important, as they were active participants in the Grand National Assembly, which was a precedent in Europe and a big democratic step at the time.
