Gojkovic said that Serbia and the Republic of Srpska would build on this highest degree of closeness and mutual support and continue to intensely develop political, economic and overall cooperation based on the 2006 Agreement on Special Parallel Relations.

Gojkovic said that the recent elections provide a solid groundwork for a successful continuation of the cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, especially in view of the Memorandum on the establishment of the Commission for Cooperation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska which enables a comprehensive and dynamic cooperation especially at the level of working bodies.

Gojkovic also thanked the Republic of Srpska for its support of Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, that is its policy on Kosovo-Metohija, based on international law, as well as on mutual support and understanding.
