Hundred and Tenth Sitting of the Administrative Committee
At the sitting held on 28 December, the Administrative Committee held the first electronic sitting at the National Assembly. The sitting was attended by National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, as well as National Assembly Secretary General Veljko Odalovic and representatives of the OSCE Mission in Belgrade.
At the beginning of the sitting, Committee Chairman Nenad Konstantinovic thanked the Swedish development agency (SIDA) which provided the financial support for the project and the OSCE Mission in Belgrade which took part in the realisation of the project of introducing e-Parliament. The project, said Konstantinovic, would help strengthen the National Assembly’s oversight function and transparency.
The Committee members went on to consider and accept the Information on the status of the electronic parliament project and assessment of the technical requirements for the submission of bills, other act proposals and amendments to the National Assembly, electronically.
The Committee unanimously adopted a Decision on handling acts submitted in an electronic form.
At the sitting, the Committee members considered and accepted the Administrative Committee Activity Report for the period June 2008 – December 2011.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Nenad Konstantinovic.
