MP Ragus Meets with Czech Ambassador to Serbia

National Assembly Deputy Speaker and Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee Marina Ragus met today with the Czech Ambassador to Serbia Jan Bondy.

Ragus and Bondy exchanged views on the bilateral relations between Serbia and the Czech Republic and agreed that there is room for improvement in many areas. Finding the parliamentary cooperation, as an important segment of the overall relations between the two countries, lacking, the officials expressed the desire to improve it. They also agreed upon the cooperation between the two parliaments’ foreign affairs committees and initiated cooperation between the parliamentary working bodies dealing with agriculture and the economy.

Deputy Speaker Ragus and Ambassador Bondy also discussed numerous issues related to the geopolitical situation in the world, as well as artificial intelligence and its impact on the global economy and social life in general, also touching on the current situation in Serbia and the importance of establishing dialogue in society.
