MPs Nebojsa Zelenovic and Danijela Nestorovic Meet with Tobias Flessenkemper

MPs Nebojsa Zelenovic and Danijela Nestorovic Meet with Tobias Flessenkemper met today at the National Assembly House with the Head of the Council of Europe Mission in Belgrade Tobias Flessenkemper to discuss the cooperation with the Council of Europe as an institution which can help a great deal in the country’s European integration process.

Flessenkemper listed a number of examples and projects through which it is possible to realise cooperation and communication with the Council of Europe on any and all important social issues. He urged his hosts to intensify cooperation with committees and individual MEPs, emphasising the importance of taking part in parliamentary delegations.

The officials also discussed media freedom with a special focus on medial literacy and educating the citizens how best to keep informed about the topics of general importance the WE HAVE TO – TOGETHER Parliamentary Group advocates in the National Assembly.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Head of the Council of Europe Mission Nada Cuk.
