In her presentation, Marija Jevdjic emphasised that, in recent years, the Republic of Serbia has made significant steps toward building a legal and institutional framework for the fight against organised crime. She particularly stressed that the Republic of Serbia is actively participating in the implementation of international conventions and standards, including the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime. She also emphasised the role of digital transformation and new technologies in detecting and combating organised crime. In this regard, the Republic of Serbia is ready to be part of the global technological coalition aimed at improving security tools, as well as protecting human rights and democratic values.
